Easy two ingredient recipe .Wings with Spanish flavor plus a lil tang from a vinegar/spice marinade . Stovetop or bake em for a healthier version .
Two ingredients - need a bowl to mix them up ( yea I know 2 ingredients but comes out so flavorful )
Can be found at grocery store on international isle. ( great for rice too )
Chickens wings - clean w vinegar or water, trim to your liking if nec . Fryer wings preferable .
These came already cut ,I like to clean with a little vinegar , water and salt ...
After rinsing chicken time to add our ingredients
Add apple cider vinegar ( white works as well your wings will be less tangy ) .
Vinegar should cover wings just enough
Add your Sazon . I generally use 3-4 packets depending on color . Color should be dark orange / red ..
Cover your wings. ( optional but better off this way )
Store in fridge for minimum 3 hours for best results.. Anything over will result in more flavorful wings ;)
Take wings out of bowl place on plate . This is important to drain some of the liquid out of chicken . Atleast until wings come to room temp. ( you can do this while heating oil)
Set your oil to med heat . You want just enough to cover about half the wing
Place you wings in oil
Flip after about 5-6 mins . Cooking time depends on size . Cook atleast 10 mins total or until no pink inside ...For crispier wings leave in for about 15 - 18min
Wa-la . Yummy tender wings like you never tasted before :)
Note - ( optional )I usually add a few extra spices to my tasting . A lil garlic and onion powder goes well also .

- 1.0 Bowl Med - Lrg
- 1/2c Apx - oil
