STEPS
INGREDIENTS
Gather supplies: large pot (6 quarts), small pot (1 quart), spaghetti spoon, spaghetti noodles, pasta sauce, strainer, potholders, small spoon, plate and fork
Tip: use a small plate or paper towel for a spoon rest
Fill large pot with 4 quarts of water. Place on stovetop over high heat and bring to a boil.
Once water is boiling, carefully add spaghetti noodles to the large pot. Tip: the hole in a spaghetti spoon can be used to measure a serving size of dry noodles
Boil noodles for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
While the noodles are cooking, heat pasta sauce in small pot over medium heat, stirring occasionally with a small spoon. Tip: it should only take 3-5min for sauce to heat up
When noodles are ready, use pot holders to carry pot to sink and dump noodles and water in strainer. Tip: tilt the pot away from you so steam doesn't go in your face
Transfer desired amount of noodles and sauce onto a plate and enjoy! Tip: Can be garnished with parmesan cheese and served with garlic toast or a vegetable.
Summary: Add spaghetti noodles to pot of boiling water and cook for 7 minutes, heat up sauce while noodles are cooking, strain noodles, put noodles and sauce on plate and enjoy!
