STEPS
TOOLS
In a bowl mix the flour salt and baking soda, make sure and stir though my to ensure ingredients have combined completely
Then in a separate bowl combine sugars
Once eggs have come to room temperature crack then in a small bowl and add vanilla extract
Add eggs with the sugar notice that the sugars are already mixed together
Then once eggs have been added slowly add the dry ingredients (flour, salt, baking soda)
As you add the flour it should become less of a liquid and more of a solid
Once flour has been absorbed slowly add the crisco
I don't add all the butter just enough until the batter forms together
You should be able to form into a bowl; if too watery add flour, if too stiff add crisco
Then in a bowl place about 2 table spoons of sugar and 1/2 a tsp of cinnamon and mix together
Then form smaller balls of dough about a inch and a half in diameter
Then place dough in sugar
Roll dough in sugar so it has a sugar coating
Then place ball on cooking tray with the uncoated part facing down
Apply pressure to so the height is the cookie is about half an inch Side note: I like when the dough crack along the edges
Then if you would like you can sprinkle the remaining sugar on top
Because if the sugar coating the cookies will not expand significantly but still allow space between
Place in the oven at 365 degrees for 10-12 minutes
I was able to make 20 good sized cookies
Enjoy!
