How to make slime

Gather ingredients. Warm water, Tide laundry detergent, borax, lotion, soap, glitter (optional), 2 bowls, measuring cup, teaspoon, and tablespoon.

Pour glue into one bowl. It's easiest if you take of the cap all the way. Tip: how much glue you put in is how much slime you get out, for this recipe I am using 7.625 ounces of glue.

Add a squirt of soap and lotion. Then stir together.

After you have mixed the soap, lotion and glue stir in the paint or food coloring. I am using purple paint.

Next stir in about 2 teaspoons of water.

Add about 2 tablespoons of Tide one at a time stirring in between the tablespoons.

If not a slime consistency add more tide little at a time (about penny sized).

Still sticky? Don't worry.

Set that aside. Gather your borax, warm water, teaspoon, and measuring cup.

Add a cup of water and a teaspoon of borax to the other bowl.

Stir together until the borax dissolves into the water. Now you have a borax solution.

Add a few teaspoons of the borax solution to the slime.

Knead the slime. If still sticky add more borax solution.

You can add extra things to the slime like glitter or beads if you want. I added some light pink glitter.

Now enjoy your slime!

Once your done playing with the slime put if into a bag that zips shut or a container with a sealed lid to keep it safe and moist.
