INGREDIENTS
Fill a pot to a halfway point
Add two caps full of olive oil to the pot of water
Turn burner between Hight an medium heat to being water to a boil
Add one third tablespoon of salt
Wait for the water to boil
Once water I brought to a boil, add two cups of rice
Turn heat down and let boil for 5 minutes
Between a two minutes and a minute left of boiling your water should have a milky (egg nogg-ish) color And rice color changes from the brownish to the same color a the water
Turn the heat down more, below medium
After turning the heat down stir rice. Let it sit an boil til the water boils down and the rice becomes visible to the surface.
After 2-3 minutes of boiling The rice becomes visible to the surface (like the left side)
Turn the heat down to low. And stir rice
At this point the rice is still in a little but of water. remove from the heated burner to cool burner or cool surface
Add a table spoon of Mrs. Dash *** NOTE!!!: this Mrs. Dash I am adding is salt FREE, no salt in it at all! I used it because I already added salt to the rice in the beginning
Using one hand stir the rice and slowly sprinkle in the Mrs. Dash
Once the Mrs. Dash is mixed in I place Cilantro seasoning for a fresh kind of taste
A little sprinkle of cilantro
Then a dash a black pepper
This is how much cilantro and black pepper I have added
After stirring the season should be evenly distributed and NOT over powered
