How to make simple bruschetta at home
Classic bruschetta made easy! It's a great appetiser that serves up to 6-8 pax and a fabulous party food too!
Halve the tomatoes & remove seeds & soggy flesh. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes.
Chop the onion, garlic and basil. Set aside
Mix the veggies together in a bowl. Add salt & olive oil.
Squeeze lemon juice into the veggie mixture. Stir well. Alternatively you can substitute lemon juice with balsamic vinegar for a stronger palette. I prefer a light version.
Place them into a clean bowl.
Serve with lightly toasted baguette and capers (optional). Note: Capers help to enhance the taste when it's placed onto the bread.
