How to make simple and easy marinara sauce

This is the sauce from my Lasagna Roll Ups from the other guide. Don't limit yourself to those. Use it to replace that canned crap.

San Marzano tomatoes have a unique flavor. These are not technically San Marzano. These are close for half the price. It'll do for what I want.

Heat up your oil over medium heat.

Saut\u00e9 the onions for about 3 minutes.

Sauté the onions for about 3 minutes.

Add in the garlic, saut\u00e9 for 2 more minutes.

Throw in the tomatoes, salt and pepper to taste.

All done. I hit mine with a stick blender. That is optional. Now you can make lasagna, or my lasagna roll ups in my other guide.

  • 28.0oz Crushed San Marzano tomatoes
  • 3.0Tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2c Fine chopped onions
  • 4.0 Chopped cloves of garlic
  • Salt & pepper to taste
