How to make shredded chicken and swiss croissants
These are one of our favorites and so easy to make with very little prep. When you are done you will have some chicken left, so plan on making Chicken Noodle Soup the next night!

INGREDIENTS

Place whole fryer chicken in crockpot. The only seasonings I use are salt, pepper and paprika. Add one cup of water to crockpot as well.

I cook it on low heat for 10 hours. Put it on before you leave for work and it will be ready when you get home.

Chicken is ready and smells wonderful!

Remove chicken from crockpot. This is a challenge because chicken will literally fall apart. Remove skin and separate bones.

Lots of chicken! Let's make some melt in your mouth sandwiches!

To make matters easier, I buy the pre-packaged croissants.

Slice croissants in half...

Butter each side and place on griddle until golden brown.

Add chicken to croissants.

Top it off with some swiss cheese, your favorite BBQ sauce and some steamed veggies!

Enjoy!

Store the remaining chicken and make Chicken Noodle Soup tomorrow!
