Preheat oven according to directions on the cookie dough package.
Slice dough 1/2" thick and place on baking pan.
In a separate bowl, add sugar.
Count out 5 sliced almonds per cookie and set aside.
Bake cookies in oven according to package directions.
Immediately sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.
Place almonds in the center of the cookie, pressing in a bit for the almond to "stick" to the cookie.
Serve and enjoy!
