INGREDIENTS
Pupúsas Salvadoreñas
Grate cheese or break it apart with your hands
Mix all the cheeses (preferably grated) in a bowl...
Add 4 Italian cheese (any mix will do) you want a cheese that melts and binds together to keep all the cheeses together and one that smells amazing!
Mix the cheese together
Mash them together to a dough like consistency - with your hands- if too dry add a lil'bit'of olive oil
Optional - add cayenne pepper powder and/or ground pepper to the cheese and mix - this is for those of you who like it spicy :D
This is what mine looks like...
Mix the corn flower alternating between warm and cold water to a pizza dough-like consistency - with your hands-
Heat up the flat grill and rub it with a little bit of extra olive oil to cover the surface - don't over do it- just enough will do
Put it on the flat grill- turn over every so often until you get a golden side, and the cheese has melted - yumm yumm

- 1.0c Italian cheese mix
- Feta cheese
- Mozzarella
- Corn flour (tortilla flour)
- Extra virgin olive oil
