INGREDIENTS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Spread the 2 cups of pecans on the baking sheet then put in the oven for 8 minutes
Line another baking sheet with foil and then grease with Pam
Line the 24 graham crackers on the foiled cookie sheet, they should over lap about 1/4 of the cracker long ways (follow the perforated lines long ways
Add 2 and 1/2 cups of butter in a sauce pan *the heat is not on yet*
Add 4 tablespoons of whipping cream
Add 2 cups of brown sugar
Turn the stove burner to medium low
Stir the caramel until it starts to boil then remove from the heat and add 2 teaspoons of vanilla
Add in the toasted pecans and stir
Sprinkle the kosher salt over the bars ***Optionally you can add chocolate chips, let them melt, then smear with a spoon
Remove from cookie sheet and sit on a cookie rack and let cool for an hour
Pull the bars from the foil and break into pieces. Then enjoy !
- 2.0c Chopped Pecans
- 24.0 Graham crackers
- 2.0c Brown sugar
- 1/2c Butter
- 4.0Tbsp Whipping cream
- 2.0tsp Vanilla extract
- Kosher salt
- PAM
- **Optional chocolate chips
- Aluminium foil
- 2.0 Baking sheets
