STEPS
INGREDIENTS
Slice two yellow onions.
Add 4 tablespoons of olive oil to a large skillet over medium heat.
Add sliced onions and a dash of salt to the skillet.
Leave onions to cook slowly and stir so they are even. Continue stirring onions until they become golden brown and caramelized.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the salmon fillet in it.
Season salmon fillet with salt and pepper, to taste.
Spread caramelized onions evenly across the top of salmon fillet.
Place crescent roll on salmon fillet.
Spread egg yolk on the crescent roll using a pastry brush.
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
Bake in oven set to 375°F for 25-30 minutes, or until golden-brown.
Take out of the oven, cut, and enjoy!
Overall I was happy with the final dish. I changed the recipe according to what ingredients I had and my own judgement which worked out well. This was the 1st fish dish I made and I think I did well.
