Pick fresh rose petals.
Rinse the rose petals to remove any dirt or bugs.
Add rose petals and water to pot.
Allow petals to steep in steaming, but not boiling, water. The steeping process is finished once the petals have lost their color.
Strain petals from mixture.
Rose water stays fresh longer if refrigerated. Now you can use this water in cocktails, in a traditional Indian lassi, or even on your skin.
