How to make roasted red pepper hummus

We're going to use dried chickpeas since my boyfriend picked up the wrong ones but we'll make do ;) You can use 1 can of canned chickpeas and skip to step 14! *you won't need the water*

Place in a large bowl & cover

Soak overnight (10 hours is a good amount of time)

Cover and bring to a boil. Cover and allow to simmer for approximately one hour.

Drain and allow to cool 15 minutes

START HERE IF USING CANNED CHICKPEAS!

Now it's time to blend!!

Put chickpeas in the blender. Give 'em a good blitz! Slowly add the rest of the ingredients, continuing to blend it all together.

The quantity of the ingredients is really all up to you and your tastes. Give the mixture a taste and adjust it until you've reached the prefect flavor :)

You may need to add a little water to smooth it some, but again that's all a preference thing ;) Blend and add until you love the taste!

Put in a bowl & enjoy with your favorite chips and veggies!!
