Gather your ingredients.
In a mixing bowl, add 2cups of red velvet cake mix, 1/3 cup of water & 2 tbsp of vegetable oil.
Mix batter until you get a smooth consistency.
If you want the batter thicker, add more cake mix a little bit at a time until you get the desired batter thickness you want. Or, if the current batter is too thick for you then add 1 tbsp of water.
Place your pan on medium heat & spray on Pam oil.
Scoop in about 1/3 cup of batter into the pan.
Tip: Pour batter at center of pan & the batter will spread out evenly into a circle.
Cook for about 2-3mins on each side. Use a spatula to gently lift & flip the pancake over. (Note: Cooking time varies depending on thickness of your batter. Thicker batter needs more cooking time.)
Stack your finished red velvet pancakes on a plate & sprinkle powdered sugar on top. Serve with syrup & your choice of breakfast drink (ie: coffee, mimosa, cranberry juice...etc)
Here, I cut out heart shaped butter & place it on top of the pancakes before serving the pancakes to my sweet Valentine. <3
