Beat your yogurt and add the chopped onion, cilantro, tomato, green chili & salt to the yogurt. Add water to get it to a sauce consistency

Keep this aside for half an hour so that all the flavors combine well into yogurt. Your raita is ready to go with your Biryani. You can also add chopped cucumber to this. Enjoy!!!

  • 2 cups of plain yogurt
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • Cucumber optional
  • Salt to taste
