INGREDIENTS
Gayher your supplies. Paneer/ cottage cheese, spices, onion, capsicum.
Cut the onion, capsicum and paneer into small bite size cubes. Try and cut them same size.
Add turmeric.
Chilli powder
Ginger garlic paste
Garam masala
Coriander powder
Amchur/ dry mango powder (optional)
Salt to taste.
Gram flour.
Add about 1-2 tsp gram flour.
Mix well and let it marinate for at least 10-15 mins.
Start the assembly of tikkas. On a toothpick pierce one piece of capsicum, one piece onion, followed by one piece of paneer, one onion and one capsicum.
Prepare all the paneer pieces as mentioned. This will ensure that the paneer is held by the pieces of onion and capsicum on both ends.
Heat the grill pan.
Brush with oil.
Place the paneer tikkas and cook on medium heat.
Flip the paneer tikkas.
Do not over cook, or the paneer will become dry and chewy.
The paneer should be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
