Gather your ingredients
Wash your tomatoes and basil in cold water and drain your mozzarella cheese.

Cut your tomatoes into 1 centimeter thick pieces
Then cut your mozzerella cheese into the same 1 centimeter pieces just like you cut the tomatoes.

Begin to plate the tomatoes horizontally on a small plate like so

Then place the cheese right on top of the tomatoes.

Now take your pesto and put a teaspoon of it over the mozzerella
Seperate the basil leaves from the plant and place them over the pesto. Garnish with some black olives and olive oil.
