INGREDIENTS
Fry onion until slightly brown. Add garlic and ginger ( freshly chopped ). Stir till further brown.
Make meat balls and broil for 3 minutes turning once
On medium heat add the partially cooked meat balls
Stir in the Qoftas and fry a little
Add spices
Add the spices
Stir continuously
Add the juice from the broiled qoftas
Add a little water
Chop tomatoes
Or grate tomatoes and discard skin
Add tomatoes to the sauce
Let it cook on medium - low heat until oil begins to come on the surface
Chop chilli pepper
Add chillis to the sauce
Add a glass of water
Simmer for 3 minutes on low
Add cilantro to garnish

- 1.0lb Ground beef or lamb
- 1.0 Onion finely chopped
- 4.0 Cloves of garlic chopped
- 1.0in Chopped ginger
- 1.0tsp Salt
- 2.0Tbsp Garam masala
- 1.0 Green jalapeƱo / chilli pepper chopped
- FOR THE CURRY SAUCE
- 0.0c Vegetable oil
- 1.0 Onion chopped
- 3.0 Cloves of garlic
- 0.0in Ginger sliced
- 2.0 Chopped tomatoes or 1/2 can of chopped tomatoes
- 0.0bnch Cilantro for garnish chopped finely
- 1.0 Glass of water
- 1.0tsp Turmeric
- 1.0tsp Chilli ( cayenne pepper powder )
- 2.0tsp Cumin seeds
- 1.0tsp Garam masala
