Beat the butter until smooth
Beat in both sugars a little at a time until it is light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time.
Add the vanilla and pumpkin puree.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda,salt,cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. Slowly add to the batter.
Add the chocolate chips.
Drop by tablespoons on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 Fahrenheit for 12 minutes.
