Fold a piece of paper in half (we used A4)

Paint a strip of string in any pattern you like (we alternated purple and blue)

Lay it onto one side of your paper any way you like.

Close the paper a pull the string holding the paper flat firmly. You may want help from a friend.

Repeat as many times as you like!
