How to make play dough

Combine wet ingredients in measuring cup. Combine dry ingredients in pot.

Add wet ingredients to dry.

Place pot on the stove over low heat and stir constantly so as not to overcook your dough.

When the dough is ready and no longer sticky, it should look something like this.

Place your dough on a lightly floured surface and add a few drops of food coloring.

Knead the dough until the color is uniform. If you want to get really fancy, you can add in sparkles or even essential oil at this point.

Admire your beautiful play dough and think of all the fun you will have with it!

Remember to store dough in plastic bags so it won’t dry out.
