Gather your ingredients.
Whip butter and sugar together.
Add the eggs and whip thoroughly.
Add the rest of the ingredients, whip together.
Set the batter aside for 10min, if it's too thick for your taste afterwards just add a bit of water.
In the meantime heat up your waffle maker.
Depending on your kind of waffle maker (I have a Brussel one) pour the needed amount of batter into it, close the lid, remove the waffle when ready. Makes 9-10 waffles.
Enjoy dusted with icing sugar, fresh berries, marmelade, whipped cream or whatever else you prefer.
