INGREDIENTS
Preheat to 350° F. Excuse my gross oven top.
Grab some bagels, however many you plan to make. Remember, they'll be used in halves. I used 3 whole bagels, so 6 halves. I like these plain ones because I'm boring.
Have halves. I'm baking six halves because that's what fits in my pan.
IMPORTANT: If you are going to place the bagels on a baking sheet/pan when you put them to bake, make sure to toast them thoroughly to your liking beforehand, because they will not toast in the oven.
IMPORTANT: CONT'D If you are NOT using a pan and are just going to put them on the wire rack, pre-toast them lightly, because they will probably toast even more in the oven whilst baking.
Toast according to the two previous steps.
This is the hardest part.
Gather your sauce of choice. I'm using the pasta sauce
Begin prep.
Add sauce if you want to. The point of toasting it before is so the sauce doesn't make the bread soft and moist.
Add cheese if you like. I prefer mixed cheeses.
Neatness is obviously very crucial for this step.
Add other toppings you want.
Pop em' in for 6-7 minutes.
