Here are all of the ingredients
Blend one cup of pistachios with a quarter cup of sugar until finely ground
Add the pistachio and sugar mixture to the whole milk in a pot over medium heat, stirring frequently, until boiling
While the milk is heating up, whisk the eggs with the remaining sugar
Once the milk boils, add the almond extract and remove the pot from the heat
Slowly pour the milk into the eggs while whisking vigorously
Return the mixture to the pot
Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, for about ten minutes until the mixture thickens, make sure not to boil the mixture
Once you can draw your finger along the back of a wooden spoon and a trail is left behind then the mixture is thick enough
Strain the mixture into a glass bowl and stick it in the fridge for about 2 hours, or until thoroughly chilled
After two hours, chop the remaining nuts
Add the cream to the chilled custard
Add the chopped nuts
Pour the ice cream mix into you ice cream maker and follow the instructions that come with your ice cream maker
