Gather all ingredients. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, swift together all dry ingredients, with the exception of the brown sugar.
Next add all the wet ingredients and mix for 2-3 mins.
Melt butter in a 10in cast iron pan( preferred). You can also use a cake pan if one is not available.
Sprinkle brown sugar on top of the butter, be sure not to stir.
Position the pineapple, cherries, and walnuts.
Pour batter into pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Test for doneness with a toothpick.
Cool for an hour and flip it right side up.
For the ultimate taste.. cool it under refrigeration for 3-4 hours. Serve it or have it cold. Umm the walnuts are to die for. Enjoy!
