How to make persian adas polo (lentil rice)

This goes great with the guide I made on Saffron Chicken. Serves 3-4 people.

Cook them in about 3 cups of water until soft, but not mushy (about 20 minutes of simmering should do it)

You'll know the rice is cooked when it looks like the grain on the right. If it's white in the center like the left grain, it's not cooked enough. The grain must look fully clear.

Enjoy thoroughly. Personally, I like to mix some cinnamon and sugar into it on my own plate. Try it if you like! 1/4tsp cinnamon to 1/2tsp sugar per cup of Adas Polo.
