We're going to make the bottom dowel look like the one at top.

We're going to make the bottom dowel look like the one at top.

Mount a roundover bit 1/2 the diameter of the dowel. Drill a hole in scrap the same size as the dowel. Start router, insert dowel into scrap and rotate. Note: Clamp scrap securely.

  • Wooden Dowel (any size)
  • 1.0 Roundover Bit (1/2 dowel diameter)
