How to make perfect poultry pie
"Poultry" pie is the chicken version of shepherd's/cottage pie :)

INGREDIENTS

Sauté onions

When lightly pink, add garlic and sauté for a minute

Add carrots

Add spices, salt & pepper. Cook for a couple mins

Add flour & cook for few seconds

Stir in chicken broth and peas; cook for a couple mins

Add the chicken -- I used leftover rotisserie chicken so it was precooked. If you use raw chicken, cook it beforehand

Add butter, salt and sour cream to your potatoes. You can add cheese too but I didn't have any : /

Add milk and mash the life out of them!!

Transfer your chicken mix into an 8x8 baking dish.

Cover the mix with cheese followed by the mash. Bake at 350 for 30 mins. If the potatoes aren't browned, turn on the broiler (I forgot to take a pre-baking pic; got busy talking with hubby..)

- 2.0 Carrots (medium, chopped)
- 2.0c Chicken breast cut in pieces
- Onion (medium, chopped)
- 2.0 Garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2.0tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 4.0 Boiled potatoes
- 2.0Tbsp Butter
- 1/4c Sour cream
- Grated cheese
- Salt, pepper according to taste
- 1/4c Flour
- 1/2c Chicken broth
- 1.0pch Ground cloves, cinnamon & ginger
- 1/8c Green peas
- 1.0 Bay leaf
