Now, this is an important step for a perfect poached egg. Stir the water in a circular motion to create a whirlpool (for lack of better word) for your egg.

As you can see in the previous picture, the egg has held together nicely and there is minimal egg white floating around in the water thanks to the vinegar/whirlpool bath

I'm trying to loose baby weight so I'm having my poached egg on a slice of dry whole wheat bread w/ tomato slices, a piece of natural smoked turkey and some fresh chives... Less than 200 calories! Yum
