Boil penne 11 minutes then drain water.
Add oil and butter to large saucepan or wok. Melt butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and stir.
Sauté garlic a few minutes or two, stirring occasionally. Do not let the garlic burn.
Toss penne into the oil and butter and stir to mix. Cook a few minutes until pasta is heated through.
Pour pasta in bowl and sprinkle with basil, a little bit of salt, and a handful of shaved Parmesan. Serve and enjoy!
