How to make peanut butter frito cookies

You will need a medium sized sauce pan, liquid measuring cup, dry measuring cup, rubber spatula, knife, and cookie sheet. Spray the cookie sheet with cooking spray or use a silicone baking sheet.

You will need: 1 cup of white sugar; a 10 oz bag of Fritos; 1 cup of white corn syrup; and 1 cup of peanut butter.

Add the sugar and white corn syrup to the sauce pan.

Stir together and cook a on a stove at medium high heat.

Be sure to stir frequently!

When it begins to boil, remove from the the burner.

Add the peanut butter to the mixture.

Stir it together.

Stir it until it is completely smooth.

Spray the cookie sheet with cooking spray or put a silicone baking sheet on it, then, spread the Fritos evenly across the cookie sheet.

Pour the peanut butter over the Fritos.

Let it cool and harden.

Once it has cooled and hardened you will need to dump it onto a cutting board if you used a silicone baking sheet. if you sprayed the cookie sheet with cooking spray instead you don't need to do this.

Cut it into squares.
