Measure out 2 cups of flour and sift it over your bowl.

Measure out 2 cups of milk and pour it into the flour. Do not mix yet.

Crack 2 eggs into the bowl with the flour and the milk.

Add the sugar and the vanilla extract and mix well. At first the mixture may be a bit lumpy but if you keep mixing, the lumps will disappear.

Turn the stove onto high and spray your pan lightly with cooking spray. As the pan gets hot turn the heat down to medium.

Pour batter into the pan. You can choose how big you want your pancakes to be.

Flip your pancake when bubbles begin to form in the centre of your mixture and cook the other side until golden brown.

Repeat steps 6 and 7 until all of the mixture is used up

Top your pancakes with your choice of toppings or just leave them plain.
