INGREDIENTS
Get some oranges
Get your eggs
Scale your sugar
Scale almond meal
Scale baking powder
Put oranges in cold water bring to the boil and boil for 20 minutes
Crack eggs
Add sugar
Start to whisk
So it looks like this, nice and fluffy
Going food
Get cake tin and spray with oil
Measure cake tin and line the bottom

Take off oranges
Drain and cover with cold water and boil for another 20 minutes
Ok done
1/4 and start getting rid of the seeds

Put in a blender
And blitz
Add almond meal
Add baking powder
Blitz
Grab your egg mix
Add your orange mix
And fold in
Pour into your prepared cake tin
And bake on 170c for 55minutes
When it's cooked, get a skewer
And start making holes

Ladle over some orange syrup. I was also making marmalade and used some of that as it was reducing. You can use a jar of marmalade with some water to loosen it in the microwave
A cup and a half should do it
Let cool and settle for 20 min
De ring
Cut
Add some more syrup and eat! Enjoy.
- 2.0 Oranges
- 3.0 Eggs
- 215.0g Caster sugar
- 300.0g Almond meal
- 1.0tsp Baking powder
