INGREDIENTS
Gather ingredients.
Follow your recipe for chocolate cake.
My cake calls for 3 eggs.
Mix well.
Add 1/2 cup oil.
Add 1 1/4 cups water.
Mix out all the lumps.
Mix well.
Add cake mix.
Yep..ALL..of it. Dear son is making the cake. 😉
Like this. 😀
Prepare cake pan. I just sprayed some Pam on it.
Dear Son taking a taste. He loves to help cook.
Pour batter in pan, with a clean spoon of course. 😉 Shake the pan to release bubbles. Place in preheated 350 degree oven.
While waiting for cake to bake..unwrap the Heath candy bars, place in plastic baggie, close the bag. Dear Son whacked them with a large metal spoon till crushed to desired pieces.
I pulled the cake out of oven when toothpick came out clean.
Dear Daughter poked holes in cake with a fork. 🍴
Then she poured on a can of sweetened condensed milk.
Then half a bottle of caramel syrup.
Yum..caramel.
Give time to absorb and for the cake to finish cooling. By the time we ate supper, it was ready!
Dear Son and Dear Daughter "iced" the cake with the whipped topping.
Looks good.
Then they sprinkled the Heath candy bar on top.
All ready!
Did I say this was Gooey? 'Cause it is soooo....gooey good.
Enjoy!
