Let's start by crushing the garlic
Take a pot and place it over medium-low heat and add the olive oil
Add the crushed Garlic. Stir the garlic and let it cook for 1-2 minutes. Do not let it burn.
Add the butter next and allow it to melt.
Like so. Yum
Immediately after add the chicken broth to the pan
And lastly the black pepper. Now let's raise the heat to high and bring the broth to a rolling boil
To the broth add the linguine and lower the heat to medium low. Cook the linguini according to the instructions on the pasta box. Let's cook the pasta gently until al'dente☺️
My pasta is cooking. We will wait until our pasta is done. Most of the broth will be absorbed by the pasta this is the idea. We should have a sm. quantity of broth left when the pasta is cooked.
I like my pasta al'dente . If you find that the pasta is not cooked to your taste you can always adjust the liquid by adding a little bit more of broth until it's cooked the way you like it.
My pasta is done to my liking al'dente😁 lets lower the heat to low and gently mix in the Parmesan cheese
Stir the pasta until the cheese has melted
Turn off the heat and add the heavy cream!
Add the parsley.
Mix it together well and serve
This can be served with grilled chicken. You can also add all sorts of grilled vegetables to this delicious one pot meal! Sautéed shrimps would be extra special too. Make it your own. ☺️
