Pre heat oven at 180c (160c fan oven) gas 4. Makes about 26-28 crunchy cookies.

Mix the dry ingredients. Melt the butter and golden syrup then mix into the dry ingredients. Form into about 26-28 small balls. Might have to squeeze it tightly to form.

Arrange on a couple of baking trays lined with baking parchment. Slightly flatten. Bake for about 15-20 mins or until brown but not burnt! Allow to cool on a baking tray.

  • 175.0g Self Raising Flour
  • 175.0g Granulated Sugar
  • 100.0g Oats
  • 1.0tsp Bicarbonate of soda
  • 1.0tsp Baking powder
  • 1.0pch Salt
  • 200.0g Butter
  • 2.0Tbsp Golden syrup
