How to make nontoxic art paste out of flour and water

This paste is based on water and flour and therefore nontoxic. If you love to work creative together with kids, then this is absolutely the best paste to work with! And it's so easy to make:)

When the water boils, take it off the hotplate and add the flour. (It works better if you sieve the flour). Then stir it with a whisk until you have a thick mixture.

Then reheat the mixture again and whisk steadily. Otherwise the paste will scorch...:/ you can see that the paste gets more and more transparent and looks milky. That's how it should be!:)

If the paste has this milky look and has no more flour lumps in it then let it cool down, just for a few minutes. After that add the sugar an stir it in.

If the paste is too thick, just add water until it suits you. If you want to reuse it, take it out of the fridge, add some water and reheat it:)

Great! You're done:) just let the paste cool a few minutes and it will be ready to use right after that:) The paste can be kept in the fridge for approximately two weeks. I hope this helped you!:)
