Cut tomatoes in half. Place them in the cooking pan. Use very red and ripe tomatoes. The tomatoes you'll pick are the only color makers as no canned tomato products used in this recipe
Add with tomatoes garlic and onion (no need chopping, we will process the vegetables after they cooked)
Add the basil
Now time for olive oil
Season with salt and pepper. Add agave nectar (you can use sugar) and 2 tablespoons water
Turn on the heat to high, cover and bring to the boil. When boiling reduce the heat to medium low and cook for 30 minutes
Blend. Taste. Fix seasoning
Cover and continue to cook for another 20 min till the sauce thickens
There you go an easy and delicious tomato sauce. You can divide the sauce into portion and freeze it for later use
