STEPS
INGREDIENTS
Here are all of the supplies. It truly is easier to pour and measure everything first. These cookies are super fast to make. In 10 minutes you will be eating the finished cookies!
Start with a large nonstick saucepan. Place your stick of butter and get it melting first. Then pour in the sugar, the cocoa and the milk.
Stir, stir and stir some more! Don't let the sugar burn!
Once the sugar starts melting nicely! Quickly put out some wax paper or parchment paper to drop the cookies on to cool!
Keep stirring! Make sure to get the cocoa off the side of the pan!
Starting to bubble.
Boiling! Now, turn off heat and remove from stove and add the peanut butter, the oatmeal and the vanilla. Mix really well.
Once you get all of the items in pan, it will be thick.
This is mixed well and ready to drop on the parchment.
The key is to drop the cookies on the parchment quickly! Make the cookies any size you want. I use my mixing spoon and a cereal spoon to drop the cookies.
First cookie!
Work quickly, as the mixture cools, it gets stiff.
Yum!
One batch makes about 30 good sized cookies.
These are still a little warm, but oh so good!
Enjoy! www.faithhopeandart.blogspot.com
