If you've decided to add the broccoli chop it up. It's up to you how much you want. I've just done an average head of broccoli. Either steam or boil the broccoli. Up to you. I always steam it.
Chop up the onion, garlic and bacon. Some people like to crush the garlic, it's up to you. I like chopping it. You can use more/less bacon. A lot of the ingredients in this are subjective.
Oil up a pan. Excuse my pan in bad shape. I'm a poor student.
Brown the onions and garlic on a medium-high heat.
Add the bacon
Once the bacon is almost cooked, add the broccoli if you've chosen too and continue to cook until done. Then take it off the heat.
Put the pasta on. It's up to you how much you want. The sauce will cover a fair amount, you might not even end up using it all.
While the pasta is cooking whisk together the eggs, egg yolk, thickened cream, and grated Parmesan. You could probably do it using 1 egg instead of 2. And you can use more/less Parmesan.
Whisk until its like a whipped cream, and forms soft peaks.
Drain the pasta once it's done.
Then put it back in the pot and add the bacon mixture. Keep the stove on a medium heat while doing this.
Add the sauce bit by bit, stirring (I also add more Parmesan here. But you don't have to).
Once it reaches a consistency you prefer, this being mine, stop adding the sauce and take it off the heat. Season with salt and pepper to your own tastes.

- 75.0g Grated Parmesan cheese
- 175.0g 175-200g bacon
- 1.0 Onion
- 1.0 Clove of garlic
