How to make miniature hotdogs

Gather your supplies

Form a bun shape with tan clay and set it aside.

Mix red with various browns to get the desired hot dog color. (You could make a sausage or something instead)

I decided to go with a cartoonish red hot dog

Roll out a thin log

Diagonally press a large needle on the top of the hot dog to make lines

Something like this

Get a black chalk pastel and load a brush

Fill in the marks made earlier

With a clean brush, use browns and reds to add color to the bun

This makes it look like a real bun

Slice 3/4 of the way through the bun

Use a tooth brush, foil, or needle to "rough up" the edge of the bun and make it look like real bread

Stick the hot dog in the slice

(Optional) roll out yellow or red clay as thin as possible

Stick on to make custom condiments et voila! Tu as un hotdog! Bake and glue on a magnet or push in an eyepin before you bake to make charms and keychains. Don't forget glaze! Enjoy :)
