Make Mini Easter Baskets From Toilet Paper Rolls

STEPS
TOOLS
Gather your supplies. Petaloo Flowers are available online at most major scrapbook retailers. Start by trimming your paper 6 inch by 5 inch
You can glue your paper on with Tacky Glue, but I recommend this sweet little Machine the Xyron Creative Station 5 Inch. If gluing- glue the roll first then add the paper
roll it around the tube- line it up as straight as possible, you should match at the top and have the extra hanging over the bottom (the 6 inch side goes around, the 5 inch up and down)
Press them down a little flat (don't press too hard of you used the Xyron or it will stick together)
Now slip the punch in there and punch out both sides- empty the chads out as you go, you will need them later
take one of the chads and use it as a guide to trim the corners off each side- you can make a pencil line if you want
Now trim down at the base as shown- go ALL THE WAY to the tube so your basket lies flat
Fold them all down and you should be looking like this
Take one of your chads and add some hot glue to the back
put it on the base, then place on table and press down- if you want you can use a pencil on the eraser side to press down into the basket
if you have some pokey corners you can press them in with your scissor tip
wrap some twine round and tie in a knot
Hot glue on your Petaloo flowers! Stuff with easter grass, moss, or paper krinkles
you can fill with candies and even personalize
This one has a Mulberry Street Petlaoo flower- Wild Roses in green, so pretty! Thanks for joining me today! You can find me at http://inmyblueroom.blogspot.com/ Denise!
