First pre-heat the oven to 180c/gas mark 4. grab the flour, butter and sugar. Mix the flour and sugar together, then add the butter
Rub the butter with the flour and sugar until it becomes breadcrumbs.
Then knead together until it forms a dough
Then u need to press the dough into a tin. Try to not make it to thin.
Get a fork and prick lightly into the dough.
Steam or boil the condensed milk for 3 hours. Top up water at regular intervals.
Bake the shortbread in the pre-heated oven for about 20 minutes or until firm to the touch and very lightly brown. Let it cool in the tin
Pour the condensed milk into a bowl and stir it up, then pour on to the shortbread
Get the chocolate and put into a bowl
Put the bowl onto a saucepan full of water and heat the water to a boil
Once the chocolate is melted, pour onto the shortbread cover in the caramel.
Even the chocolate and leave to cool down at room temperature. U can cool it in the fridge as well
- 250.0g Plain flour
- 75.0g Caster sugar
- 175.0g Butter,softened
- 794.0g 2 cans of Condensed milk
- 200.0g Milk chocolate, broken into pieces
