Mix together 1-18 oz package of your favorite brand of chocolate cake mix and 1 stick of butter.
Mix together long enough to form moist crumbly crumbs.
Remove 1 cup of crumbs, and add 1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips and reserve for later as the topping for the bars.
Prepare pan with release spray.
Add cake crumbs to baking pan.
Press the crumb mixture into the bottom of the baking sheet pan.
Top the crust with 8 oz. of raspberry preserves.
Prepare filling first by melting 4oz of chocolate in the microwave at 30 second intervals.
Stir in 1/2 the sugar into the melted chocolate, whisk smooth and set aside.
Second part of the filling; in a mixing bowl place 8 oz of cream cheese and 1/2 the sugar and blend smooth.
Add egg and blend smooth.
Stir in melted chocolate and sugar mixture.
Place the chocolate cream cheese mixture on top of the raspberry and crumb crust.
Spread evenly. Top with the reserved crumbs added with mini chocolate chips.
Ready for the oven.
Bake at 350f for 35 minutes or just until the chocolate cream cheese mixture has set.
Done! For ease of cutting and removing from pan, refrigerate overnight and cut cold.
