Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
Gather your ingredients.
Separate the egg yolks from the whites.
Beat the egg whites until they hold stiff peaks. Set aside.
In another bowl, mix the egg yolks and sugar until creamy and pale.
Yummy! Although, I wouldn't advise you to eat this. 😄
Add the vanilla and butter and mix until its all combined.
It's time for the flour! Mix it in until fully incorporated.

Slowly add the milk and beat until everything is mixed together.
The batter will be very runny at this point.
Remember those egg whites? Fold them into the batter a third at a time with a rubber spatula.
Pour the batter into a greased 8x8 pan.
Bake it until golden brown on top, or about 40-50 minutes.

Finish it off with a dusting of powdered sugar and some berries! Enjoy!

- 8.0Tbsp Butter, melted

- 2.0c Milk, lukewarm
