How to make lucy's lemonade🍋
I used to drink Mountain Dew, Sprite, or Sunkist...those lemon-lime or orange sodas. I had to kick the carbonated drinks. Now I drink my homemade lemonade. It's so refreshing.

STEPS
INGREDIENTS
Gather supplies.
I'm making a gallon of Lucy's Lemonade.
Start out with sugar. The amount depends on how sweet you like it. Start out with 1 cup to a gallon and go from there. I like 2 cups to a gallon because I like my lemonade to be sweet. 🍭
My 2 cups.
Pour directly into container.
The Lemon🍋...I use depending on what I have got. For one gallon use either: 2 packets unsweetened Kool-Aid...or 1 1/2 to 2 cups lemon juice depending on how sour the juice is. Pour in over the sugar.
The citrus fruit... I've got lime and oranges on hand. Experiment with this. Use what you've got.
I'm gonna use 2 lime....
..and 2 Oranges.
Wash them well.
Cut off ends...
All of them. (Toss the ends or place where you've seen spiders. They don't like the smell. Or use them as little scrubbers for cleaning. Be sure to rinse after.)
Now cut in half.
Then slice.
Like so.
Add to sugar and lemon...rind and all.
Now, grab a wooden spoon.
Looks like this. Add sprinkle of salt. The salt enhances the natural flavors.
Heat up 2 cups water.
Add to mix.
Mix well till sugar is dissolved.
Like so.
Add ice.
And water.
Mix.
Taste. Is it sweet enough? Tart enough? Make changes if need to.
Put the slotted end in.
Like so.
Pour, Drink and Enjoy! Cheers!🍹
