Purchase paint in the color of choice. If you want to write the names on the pot, use chalkboard paint.

Purchase clay pots in the desired size. Pots shown are 1". Paint all the pots. Three coats provided a nice finish. Let dry.

Purchase desired succulents. Pot with soil. Water lightly.

Add name tags with a stick. I used plastic straws I purchased online, 100 for $1. If you don't want to use a tag, write names directly on the pot with a chalk pen.
