How to make lipstick cupcake toppers with candy

We've all had a cupcake with the cutest decorations on top that are really hard. Am I the only one who wants to eat those little pieces of cuteness? With this little tip, now we can!

My licorice candies were small so I took two and stuck them together with a little melted chocolate.

Side note: I "over cooked" some chocolate that I was using for cake pops. It's not smooth enough for cake pops but perfect for a project like this!

Cut the caramel into thirds. Then cut a piece that is the same width as your licorice.

Smooth the caramel a little with your fingers and stick it to the licorice with some chocolate. A tiny bit if shortening on your finger tips will help with stickiness.
