Two knee supports and one pack of foam craft sheets. I originally bought two packs, but one was enough. The foam sheets protect better than thick sponges and are thinner.

Divide pack in half. There was an odd number so one side had an extra sheet. DO NOT CUT IN HALF. You need them that large to cover entire knee, especially if you are up and down a lot.

Note that the knee support is wider on one end. This end is wider for your thigh. The smaller end is for your calf.

Fold stack of foam sheets in half lengthwise. Slide into knee support.

Do same with other stack for the second knee pad.

You can now put them on and they will work great! The support will completely cover them and keep them from shifting around.

Or, you can spend $2 bucks more for the Deluxe Version! Slip another knee support inside so the foam sheets are sandwiched between the supports.

This makes it a bit easier to slide on and off, and for long periods of time, your legs won't get sweaty.

See? Comfy and flexible. And they won't slip down your leg.

You can increase protection by adding more sheets. I did not need them any thicker to clean my wood floors, but maybe if I were kneeling on concrete I might have.
